Playing in the off-season helps girls maintain and improve their skills and become better volleyball players and is highly recommended. 2011 varsity players who played club last winter/spring:  All of them   Lauren Pisauro, PVA; Audrey Stringer, PVA; Kelsey Moulton Falcon 17, Olivia Aizen, Synergy; Jae Jackson, Falcon 17; Paige Misawic, Falcon 17, Amanda Pace, Falcon 17; Sarah Koenig, Falcon 16, Kate Webb, Falcon 17; Cara Reilly, Infinity; Sarah Sweetland, Falcon 17; Julia Martin, Falcon 16

To really develop your game, the best way is playing doubles in the summer. go to the summer link.

There are those rare athletes who can excell at volleyball and not play during the off season, so it is never required. Also It DOES NOT guarantee a spot on the PHS varsity or JV teams in the fall. Pennsbury High School girls volleyball is a separate, very successful and highly competitive program. Your daughter could be the best girl on her club team and not be one of the top girls at Pennsbury. So make sure they play club because they love the game and love to play, because it does not guarantee them a spot at PHS..

Falcon AAU Volleyball Club: volleyball work outs and travel teams for Pennsbury Residents.
We are looking for coaches if you would like to coach please contact us at info@phsvb.com

We will have workouts/practicess/clinics Tuesday and Wednesday nights at PHS West beginning in December.

This club is in transition there is no guarantee we will have travel teams. We WILL HAVE open gym, clinics, workouts etc for all Pennsbury girls grades 6-11

We will attempt to run 2 travel teams this year. Most likely we will have travel for younger ages, 13s-15s, but not for older girls. We will not know what we are doing till after we know how many PENNSBURY RESIDENTS of sufficient talent are available to play. Most of our older girls are choosing to play USA Volleyball for the tougher events and college exposure so the 16s and 17s teams look less likely to have enough players. If you are born before sept 1 1996 then you are 16 or 17 player and we recommend you look for a USAV club.
