Tiger Classic Girl’s Volleyball Tournament Information

Site: Marple Newtown High School.  120 Media Line rd, Newtown Square PA, 19073.  Enter through doors on right side of building. 
Time:  Doors open at 7:45am.  Captain/Coaches meeting at 8:05am.  Play begins at 8:30am, coin toss for first match is 8:17am.  If you are a team arriving after 8:05am Captain/Coach must check in with tournament director, Herb Staquet, upon arrival. 
Date:  This information is good for all 2010 Tiger Classic Tournaments. 2/20, 2/27, 3/6, 3/13

Format:  Pool Play 2-games to 21. Followed by semis and finals each best 2 of 3, 25-25-15 if necessary.

Pool Play tie-break:  For 1st - head-to-head record, head-to-head point dif, overall point dif, coin toss.
For 2nd - one game to 15 
Multiple 2nds – ranked by 1st tie break format, play 15 point games.
No caps, all games win by 2.    
Prizes:  Medals for 1st and 2nd place. (12 medals per team.)
Concessions: Yummy food will be available.  
***No food or beverages other than player’s courtside drinks in the gym.
Seating:  There is no bleacher seating available.
Volleyballs:  Will be provided.  NO volleyballs may be un-bagged outside of the gym.
Warm-ups:  Before a teams first match 5 and 5 no shared time.  After all first matches 3 and 3 no shared time.
